Our committee is made up of volunteer members from the thirteen southern states  to raise money for charitable causes back home and share a taste of the South with Washington, D.C.

Members of the committee are expected to:

– Communicate regularly with donor prospects through verbal and written interactions

– Work to secure sponsors through cash and/or in-kind donations

– Attend a monthly committee meeting

– Support the design and setup of the annual gala

– Articulate the philanthropic mission of Taste of the South effectively to donors, partners, and supporters
